Grace

Jeff Buckley · 1994

5.0

One studio album, immortality anyway: Grace stretches Buckley's four-octave instrument across Zeppelin-scale rock, Nina Simone's "Lilac Wine" and the "Hallelujah" that became the song's definitive form. "Lover, You Should've Come Over" is longing at full orchestration. Three years later the river took him; the album's myth only deepened the listening.
