We Are Not Your Kind leans into Slipknot's art-horror instincts — "Unsainted"'s choir, "Spiders"' piano creep — with mid-career polish that splits the difference between Iowa's violence and radio ambition. Corey Taylor's melodic register does heavy lifting. A solid late chapter that gestures at experimentation more than it commits.
