Delirium is Ellie Goulding scaling up on schedule: Max Martin-grade choruses, "Love Me Like You Do" imported from the Fifty Shades machine, and "On My Mind" supplying the album's one piece of genuine intrigue. The flutter-voiced intimacy that made her interesting gets traded, mostly profitably, for sheer size.
