Stoney introduced Post Malone's actual gift: not rap exactly, but a melodic sad-boy croon that works equally over trap drums and acoustic guitar. "Congratulations" became a graduation-post fixture; "I Fall Apart" surfaced real ache under the grills. Sloppy and derivative in places, undeniably catchy where it counts.
