Rodeo remains Travis Scott's most album-shaped album: a dark carnival of warped beats, Justin Bieber and Toro y Moi in the same tracklist, and "90210"'s two-part structure proving real narrative instinct. The auteur ambition occasionally outruns the writing, but as a world-building debut it's still the one to beat in his catalog.
