The transitional Travis album that locked in the aesthetic: Birds in the Trap is moodier and more interior than Rodeo, all narcotic synth haze and guest verses dissolved into texture. "Goosebumps" with Kendrick became his defining hit. Less ambitious than what flanks it, but the vibe-as-architecture approach starts paying here.
