The Best of Village People

Casablanca's The Best of the Village People is nearly identical to Rhino's Greatest Hits, since it contains all of the big hits, plus a similar selection of club hits. This 14-track collection contains only one remix ("Y.M.C.A.," which is also present in its original single version) and substitutes "Key West" for "Sodom and Gomorrah," and it also includes "In Hollywood (Everybody Is a Star)." These are such slight differences that the collection will be just as appealing as Rhino's to most fans, and both are first-rate retrospectives.
