"Twenty88" is the debut extended play (EP) by American duo TWENTY88, which consists of rapper Big Sean and singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko. It was released on April 1, 2016, by GOOD Music, ARTium Recordings and Def Jam Recordings. Jhené Aiko and Big Sean the L.A. singer/songwriter and Detroit MC pair up for a concept robo-R&B record that sweats sensuality. The pair circle each other with purred vocals and firm, salacious verses as they timeline a very modern relationship set to hypnotic beats, bracing trap drums, and some pomped-up soul. It’s a seductive cocktail: “Push It” is deliriously steamy, “2 Minute Warning” brings in K-Ci & Jojo to heighten the sexual tension, while the clever “Talk Show” circulates in a hazy mist of flutes and vengeful put-downs.
