While this doesn't have the two alternate takes that surfaced on the nearly identical Bear Family collection (1949-1952), this does have all 22 of the sides they officially released on Columbia, and will be much easier to find in the U.S. It's classic bluegrass of great historical importance, featuring mostly original compositions.
