Basic: Original Hits

This is a passable collection of the Hollies' hits, although it lacks the group's biggest seller, "Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress)," and one or two other key songs like "On a Carousel" and "King Midas in Reverse." The Hollies were always essentially a singles band, and the inclusion here of several album tracks that don't quite reach the level of their singles (and the omission of hits like the above) makes this compilation less than ideal.
