The Beginning doubles down on The E.N.D.'s robo-pop with diminishing returns: "The Time (Dirty Bit)" mangles a Dirty Dancing chorus into one of the era's most shameless earworms, and the rest chases the same dancefloor with less luck. Auto-Tune as aesthetic, momentum as substance. The imperial phase ends here.
