Stellar

Stellar (스텔라) is a South Korean dance-pop all-girl quartet under Top Class Entertainment. The group consists of Gayoung, Minhee, Hyoeun and JunYool. The group debuted with digital single "로켓걸 (ROCKET GIRL)" which was released in August 2011 and was produced by Eric, leader of Korean boy band Shinhwa. Later they released another two digital singles: "UFO" in 2012 and "공부하세요" in 2013. On February 12, 2014, Stellar released their first extended play, "마리오네트 (Marionette)". The group received criticism for their 'stripping game' promotional material, which involved fans having to 'like' posts on Stellar's official Facebook page in order to reveal photos of the members' body parts. The group received further criticism for their '19+' music video and performances for Marionette. Despite the controversy, Marionette became their best selling single, peaking at 35 on Gaon and 34 on the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 chart. On August 21, 2014, Stellar released their newest digital single "마스크 (Mask)".
