About
"Halfway Between Here and There" is the first full length release by the band Rx Bandits, released in 1999 on the Drive-Thru label. Two versions of the album exist. The first one was released in 1998 under the name The Pharmaceutical Bandits. The second was a re-release with new artwork under the now-familiar Rx Bandits moniker. The re-release came about when Drive-Thru Records signed a distribution deal with Universal Records. On this album, the band began to branch out beyond the third wave ska sound. The album's success allowed them to tour with well-known acts such as The Bloodhound Gang, Goldfinger, and Reel Big Fish, and later to headline shows with up-and-comers such as New Found Glory and Freakdaddy frequently opening for them.
