Neverending

Neverending is the sixth full-length studio album by the Swedish stoner doom metal band Monolord, officially released on 29 May 2026 through Relapse Records. The 8-track, 43-minute album marks a major milestone, celebrating the trio's 13 years together with a sharper, more personal sound. Monolord stepped out of their comfort zone by collaborating with legendary producer Sylvia Massy, renowned for her iconic work with Tool and System of a Down. While the album retains the band's signature wall of fuzz, tectonic-plate-shifting bass lines, and hypnotic rhythms, it introduces shorter, punchier structures and unexpected classic rock influences. Frontman Thomas Jäger also shifted his traditional lyrical focus away from religion toward deeply personal themes of relationships, anxiety, and human grief
