Under Construction

Under Construction is the fourth studio album by American rapper Missy Elliott, released by The Goldmind Inc. and Elektra Records on November 12, 2002 (see 2002 in music) in the United States. The album was primarily produced by Timbaland, with additional production from Craig Brockman, Nisan Stewart, Errol "Poppi" McCalla and Elliott herself. Upon release, Under Construction received universal acclaim from music critics, based on an aggregate score of 81/100 from Metacritic. The album debuted at number 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart with 259,000 copies sold in the first week released and has sold more than 2,125,000 million copies domesticallyas of April 2012, eventually becoming Elliott's highest selling album to date. In 2003, Under Construction received Grammy Award nominations for Best Rap Album and the prestigious Album of the Year. A "sequel" album, Under Construction, Part II, was released in 2003 by Missy's close friends and Superfriends Clique-mates Timbaland and Magoo.
