Mavi

Mavi is a fresh a singer, who surprisingly is a former lawyer. She is from Istanbul / Turkey but it's assumed from her interviews that she traveled quite a lot. In her life before music she was involved in activities irrelevant to law such as photography, acting and writing but it wasn't before 20 when she started composing songs. Around 27 she decides to start fresh and quits the job on a day just like others. Travels all around the world for a year, comes back and decides to focus on music no matter what. Struggling for several years, finally she gets the chance to present her songs. Her first album (also named "MAVI") is released on October 2010 by Pasaj Music Turkey. It has only 5 songs in it, she says that it is just for saying hello and creating a bond with people for the albums to come. She also states that "this is not an album is supposed to shake the music market or playlists, this is an album that is brought to life with all the good intentions, youthful inexperience and love". So far 2 videos are shot for the album. First one is "30", second one is "Dus" (dream).
