Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi

Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi ( Monza , 3 May 1962 ) is a singer , record producer and bassist Italian . Young cyclist, at the age of 17 he became interested in rock music , he sold his racing bike to buy a bass and an amplifier and with his friend Luigi Velati he set up a group in the Milanese hinterland: the Unknown Scream . Always in search of its own sound, the group does not publish anything except a song on a compilation of Radio Popolare and dissolves in 1984. Then lends the voice in two EPs of 2 + 2 = 5 , Milanese art rock group, and in 1986 he founded Reptile Chime which almost immediately became Sir Chime and the Lovers , with whom he released two albums for Crazy Mannequin, the second of which ( Andy Warhol), reissued on CD gets a good success also abroad.
