About
"Tragedy" is the debut full length studio album from American singer,songwriter,Julia Holter ,originally released on Vinyl, August 30, 2011 on the Leaving Records label. The CD version of 'Tragedy' released by Night School Records in April 2012 features extended tracks, interludes missed out from the LP and a fuller representation of Holter's original intentions.' The album is inspired by Hippolytus, a Greek play by Euripides, the album received generally favorable reviews and was named one of NPR's "Best Outer Sound Albums Of 2011".
