The Gathering of the Elders is a compilation album by American reggae band Groundation released in 2011. Since their 3rd album, Hebron Gate (2002), through Here I Am (2009) they have worked with some of the greatest singers who helped to establish reggae World-Wide. Now with the release of Gathering Of The Elders Groundation brings you a unique experience: 10 tracks featuring Pablo Moses, Don Carlos, IJahman Levi, The Congos, and Apple Gabriel are arranged here to tell the story of their struggle, the achievements of positive leaders, and the barriers in the way of becoming a better society. Each song is presented by the Elders through unreleased interviews, they give you insight into the messages behind the music.
