The holiday season holds a special place in Coco Jones’ heart, and to celebrate it, she has released a festive four-track EP. Instead of reimagining holiday classics, Coco by the Fireplace contains all-original songs that capture the joyful and reflective moods of the season. “Santa Is Me” serves as an empowering anthem for those who may not be spending the holiday with a loved one, while the acoustic track “Call on Christmas” finds the singer-songwriter looking back on a past relationship and wishing for a chance to rekindle it. Jones rounds out the project with the swaggering and upbeat track “My Presence Is a Present”, which reminds her partner of her worth, and the heartfelt “String of Lights”, where she asks Santa to guide her to her true love.
