Sirius

"Sirius" is the tenth album by Irish folk group Clannad, released in 1987 on the RCA label . This was a transatlantic endeavour with the recording done in London and Wales and then the mixing in Los Angeles, adding a new American dimension to the record. Greg Ladanyi, a big name American rock producer and his acclaimed drummer friend Russ Kunkel co-produced Sirius. It features several guest artists such as Bruce Hornsby, Steve Perry and J.D. Souther. The album reached number 34 in the UK Albums Charts.
