Legend

"Legend" is the eighth album by Irish folk group Clannad. Released in 1984 on the RCA label and was the soundtrack to the tv series "Robin of Sherwood". This was Clannad's first album with no Gaelic. The music for the 26 episodes really stretched the band's resources and creativity. As singer Moya puts it the Legend album was a "huge huge milestone" for Clannad combining the best of modern technology with the depths of ancient myth. They were rewarded with a BAFTA award for best original TV music , the first Irish band to win the award. And of course their second UK gold award The album reached number 14 in the UK Albums Charts.
