One-half of the Grammy-nominated sibling duo Chloe x Halle, Chlöe has been active separately as a solo and featured artist since 2021. The high-energy and supremely confident pop-R&B singer, songwriter, and producer -- well-known as an actress with roles dating back to her early childhood -- first stepped out by modernizing the show tune standard "Feeling Good." This was followed by the Top 40, platinum-certified hit "Have Mercy," among other preludes to In Pieces (2023), her therapeutic debut solo album for Beyoncé's Parkwood label. Additional singles such as "Boy Bye" appeared in 2024. Chloe Bailey started working on material for her first solo LP in 2019, between the Chloe x Halle albums The Kids Are Alright and Ungodly Hour. She appeared on her own in 2021, first with "Feeling Good" contributed to the compilation Liberated/Music for the Movement, Vol. 3. A few months later, she issued her debut solo single, "Have Mercy," produced with a team that included Murda Beatz.
