Playlist: The Very Best Of Billy Ocean

One of the better Billy Ocean anthologies, Playlist: The Very Best of Billy Ocean contains all of the singer's Top 20 U.S. hits, from 1984's "Caribbean Queen (No More Love on the Run)" through 1988's "The Colour of Love." This traces back to his 1981 album Nights (Feel Like Getting Down) -- though only for the excellent title track -- and extends to the end of the decade for "I Sleep Much Better (In Someone Else's Bed)." Ocean released some of the most memorable pop singles of the '80s (for better or worse), including "When the Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going" and "Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car," as well as some of the more enduring adult contemporary hits, such as "Suddenly" and "Love Zone."
