Colossal

Colossal is the fourth full-length studio album by Danish death metal band Baest, released in 2025. Marking a noticeable shift in the band’s sound, the album moves away from the predominantly old-school death metal approach of previous releases in favor of a broader, more expansive and groove-oriented style. While still rooted in extreme metal, Colossal places greater emphasis on mid-tempo heaviness, dynamic song structures, and a more pronounced sense of atmosphere.
