Her new collection of eleven songs edges a little closer to the mainstream than some of her work but truth be told it doesn't matter where she directs her gaze; the voice is one of the most expressive on the planet. Take a ballad such as 'If I Knew' : in many other hands a melody like this could have descended into bathos but here Ms Teeuwe raises the heat and the emotion until you can almost feel it underneath your skin. The beautiful final track 'Right On Time' comes a close second even if it has a whiff of Eurovision about it. Pop-centric numbers such as 'Not A Lovesong' and 'Be My Baby' bring a sense of fun to the proceedings. Though not the most immediately appealing of her albums 'Queen For A Day -Ltd-' is still hugely enjoyable.
