Shape Shifter Vols. 1 & 2

"Shapeshifter Vols. 1 & 2" is an album by American psychedelic rock band Quicksilver Messenger Service, released in 1996. Shapeshifter Volumes 1 & 2 was the first album to bear the Quicksilver name for 10 years when it was originally released in 1996. The album bears the hallmark that is unmistakably Quicksilver. Shapeshifter Volumes 1 and 2 was originally available as a double album but more recently has been available as two single albums. On this album Gary Duncan is joined by fellow Quicksilver Messenger Service member David Freiberg and former Sly And The Family Stone drummer Greg Errico. Elsewhere there are appearances from Santana's Raul Rekow and War's Lee Oskar.
