"Les 5 symphonies" is a compilation of Camille Saint-Saens' five symphonies, mostly composed as a juvenile (the A Major at 15, and the No 1 at 18), and as a young man (the Urbs Roma at 22, and the No 2 at 24), and his most popular work in the genre, the third symphony, the 'organ' symphony, 27 years later (1886), at the age of 51.
