In 1974, when then-heavyweight champion George Forman was preparing to fight former world champion Muhammad Ali for the historic Rumble in the Jungle' in Zaire, Africa, another stage was being set, that of concert festival. Considered to be one of his most memorable performances ever, B.B. King shone brightly to the audience of over 80,000. Filmed and directed by Academy Award®-winner Leon Gast (When We Were Kings), Live In Africa '74 shows King in top form, performing the songs that made him The King of the Blues. Look for candid shots of Muhammad Ali in the crowd. B.B. King is one of the greatest bluesmen of all time and influenced countless performers such as Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughan and many others.
